Title | Pilot Testers Sought for National Online Early Language Learning Assessment |
Body | From http://casls.uoregon.edu/select.php The Center for Applied Second Language Studies proudly announces that the National Online Early Language Learning Assessment (NOELLA) field test has started on October 22, 2007. As the first affordable, universally accessible, and nationally norm-based assessment of proficiency of early language learning, NOELLA will provide schools throughout the country with the means to measure the performance of young students (3-6 graders) accurately and reliably. NOELLA is currently being developed and piloted to assess children’s learning in four languages: French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish. A Korean pilot study is in the launching process and will be ready very soon. We would be delighted to have your participation! We also strongly encourage you to recruit colleagues at your school and in your area for our NOELLA assessments in Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. For more information about NOELLA, visit http://casls.uoregon.edu/noella.php . For more information about piloting one of the new tests, go to http://casls.uoregon.edu/select.php or e-mail info@uoregon.edu . |
