Pacific Rim Roman Literature Seminar, 2004: Performance and Roman Literature 6-9, July, 2004

Preliminary Notice and First Call for Papers due 31st January,2004.

The 2004 Pacific Rim Roman Literature Seminar will be held at The University of Sydney from the 6th to the 9th of July (Tuesday-Friday), 2004. The theme of the conference will be "Performance in Roman Literature", with the concept of performance to be understood as broadly as one might wish. Papers which are not on the conference theme are also welcome. Papers will be 40 minutes in length, with 20 minutes afterwards for discussion.

Potential presenters should send an abstract of around 300 words by 31st January, 2004 to one of the organisers. Electronic format is preferred for abstracts.
