TitleActivity Idea: A New Twist on “Around the World”
Body
Here is an idea from a LatinTeach user for how to involve the entire class at once in a game of “Around the World”:

Each student is given a piece of paper (which never moves from the desk). On the top of each an arrow for direction of movement is drawn, given by the teacher before starting the game, so the traffic pattern is clear. Teacher poses a question and students reply on paper. Those who supply the correct answer stand up. Each moves to the first student desk (following the arrow direction) made available by another correct answer. They are responsible for checking the integrity of the person who moved from that desk. The next question is asked and answered. It is important to remember that the students move, the paper stays! The goal: To be the first to return to desk of origin. Upon completion, students may keep the paper especially if the activity is used for a test review.
