| Title | Idea for First Day of Class Activity |
| Body | A LatinTeach user suggests the following activity for the first day back at school: I call it a scavenger hunt, and students must get the signature of each classmate who can answer the question "find someone who...". I do this with my 7th graders as an ice breaker and ask general questions such as "Find someone who knows where gladiators fought" to fun ones such as "Find someone who has a dog,...birthday in January.. has visited Rome, etc." For my 8th graders, I turn it into a review and include questions such as "Find someone who knows the perfect tense endings.” Anderson, S.
