Title | Kafka Society of America for Emerging Scholars Prize |
Body | From http://www.kafkasocietyofamerica.org/programs/index.html In connection with the Kafka Society sessions at the 2007 MLA Annual Convention in Chicago, a $2000 prize for the best essay submitted on the topics New Authors Engaging with Kafka/Kafka and Popular Culture will be awarded to a younger Kafka scholar (American or international, untenured, including the level of associate professors, or comparable rank) during a ceremony. The winning essay will be published in the Journal of the Kafka Society of America. Completed papers should be 15–20 single-spaced pages in length and have to be submitted by 15 October 2007.
