| Title | Call for Papers: National Conference on "The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" |
| Body | National Conference on "The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" and its influence on language learning, teaching and assessment in the U.S. Cornell University Ithaca, NY October 26-27, 2007 One-page abstract are being sought for papers that discuss and investigate the use and influence of the "Common European Framework" on language teaching, learning and assessment in the U.S. Conference participants will review the situation in the U.S. in comparison and relation to Europe, discuss how to better share experiences and insights, and investigate possible initiatives to use the framework to its full potential not just for a single language but various and across languages and foster plurilingual competence.
