TitleCultura Conference at MIT in October
Body
The MIT Foreign Languages and Literatures Department will host a small Conference on Cultura, the computer-mediated intercultural project, on October 12 and 13 (it will start Friday at 2:00pm and end Saturday at 5:00pm). The goal of this conference is to bring together faculty at Universities and High Schools who have developed Cultura in several languages or are interested in implementing a similar telecolloborative project. We will share our respective experiences and challenges, tools and initiatives and discuss such relevant issues as assessment, the role of the teachers and partners and the integration into a curriculum. Note: since this will be a small Conference, only 20 slots are available and you will be selected on a first come, first served basis. The deadline is June 30. No registration fee. For more information, please contact Gilberte Furstenberg at gfursten@mit.edu .

Information about the Cultura Project is available at http://web.mit.edu/french/culturaNEH .
