Title | “Go Fish” with Principal Parts in Latin |
Body | A Latinteach user suggests the following activity: If there was ever a good time for "go fish," principal parts is it. TONS of principal parts turn up in chapters 20-22 of 'ecce Romani' and so I have each student make a set of flash cards, one principal part per card and play "go fish". A student must as a classmate, "habesne [principal part]." It is up to the discretion of the classmate being asked if it was pronounced correctly. If the student has the principal part and it was pronounced correctly, they must hand over the card. If the person being asked does not have the card, or if it is incorrectly pronounced, the student replies, "minime! i piscatum." Chochola, J. [Latinteach] principal parts "go fish".
