Furthermore, in the research-driven world of academia, it is important that research in the area of multimedia technologies is not seen as secondary and less serious than other forms of research in language learning but rather as a area of considerable importance and merit. Consequently, the major challenge we face is to continue to build upon the distinguished profile of multimedia-based research in the area of language learning.
