Preferred specialization in Japanese language and literature, but others considered. Ph.D. in Japanese or relevant field or evidence of imminent award required. Teaching experience at the college level essential; publications desirable. Applicants should possess native or near-native fluency in the target language and should have a genuine commitment to teaching at all undergraduate levels, as well as to research in field.
