June 26 (eve.) - June 29 (to noon). Limited scholarships available. The institute will be conducted in French and participants will speak ONLY French for the duration of the institute. French teachers in the U.S. will have an enjoyable, informative live-in immersion three-day seminar on French language and culture. Participants focus on effective ways to facilitate communication in the FL classroom, and how to integrate teaching communication and teaching culture. Activities include a visit to the French Embassy with embassy staff, a visit to the French collection at the National Gallery of Art in French, and interactive activities that can be used by teachers in their classrooms.
