TitleDeutschland sucht den Superstar Listening Activity
Body
An AATG-L user wrote about the following activity:

My AP students asked to watch "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" so I created the following activity:

I downloaded four clips of DSDS off youtube (I recorded them with keepvid.com) - I used two good singers and two bad singers. The two good singers I used were "Francisca" and "Nico.” Then I created a very easy worksheet with the following questions:

Wie heisst er/sie?
Wie alt ist er/sie?
Woher kommt er/sie?
Persönliche Information:
Welches Lied singt er/sie?
Was sagt die Jury? ja / nein
Kommentare von der Jury:

First we discussed the format of "American Idol" (which I've never watched but the kids all had). Then I showed the clips and they wrote down the information and we compared our answers and the American and German versions of the show.

I ended up using the activity in levels 2, 3, 4 and AP with equal success.
