Teaching Arabic to Upper High School and College Students

A Hands-On Workshop Conducted in Arabic by Mahmoud Al-Batal, University of Texas & Co-Presenters TBA.
Institute will be conducted in Arabic. Appropriate for upper high school and college instructors.

May 21 - 25 Cost: $500/ Early: (before 5/1): $450;

Teachers of Arabic will learn about current methods and practices in learner-centered, proficiency-based instruction. Through demonstrations, video, discussion, and interactive activities, participants will experience the methods of learner-centered, proficiency-based instruction. The presenters will demonstrate best practices by micro-teaching with small groups of university students, and participants will practice learner-centered instruction with coaching and feedback from the presenters. Limited space.
