| Body | From http://linguistlist.org/issues/18/18-245.html The School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London proposes to appoint a Lecturer in Language Pedagogy. Candidates should have a record of research in this area, including a completed or nearly completed PhD, as well as relevant teaching and supervisory experience. Candidates will have experience in research and teaching in at least one Asian, Middle Eastern or African language. Candidates will play a key role in developing and expanding a range of new courses and programmes on the teaching of African, Asian and Middle Eastern languages, including teacher training, and will be expected in the first instance to offer a course at MA level on the Theory and Practice of Language Pedagogy.
