Assistant Professor of Japanese. Tenure-track position combining language teaching, teaching in area of specialization, and supervision of teaching assistants in the language program. Required Qualifications: PhD in Japanese linguistics, foreign language pedagogy, or related field; ability to teach all levels of Japanese language; near-native proficiency in English and Japanese; experience teaching college level Japanese language or linguistics; familiarity with contemporary Japan and willingness to direct a summer study program. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
