We look to new ideas and forms of expression from artists, writers, iconoclasts and visionaries, both in the region and abroad. Country List of Cultures Represented Alphabetically: Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Bahrain, Dubai, Egypt, Greece, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Kurdistan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudia Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Western Sahara Our focus is cultural rather than national identity. Each of the countries listed above is host to diverse cultures within its borders. Levantine Cultural Center takes a nonpartisan, inclusive approach in its programming and outreach, and is constantly seeking artists and other representatives of minority and majority cultures to create upcoming public programs.
