Are you a young person with a disability from the United States aged 18 - 24, or do you know someone who is? Join us for an international exchange program to Costa Rica. Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is currently seeking young people with disabilities from diverse cultural backgrounds to apply for an upcoming sixteen-day international exchange program to Costa Rica. Tentative dates for the program are June 20 - July 5, 2007. Apply by March 2, 2007. Late applications considered as space permits. Applications are available in alternative formats. Generous partial scholarships available!

A sixteen-day exchange program to Costa Rica will focus on leadership through disability rights and cross-cultural sharing. Participants will take part in discussions on disability rights and leadership with Costa Rican disability organizations, practice Spanish through immersion, and experience the food and culture with members of the local community. Participants will also take part in service learning activities.

American Sign Language interpretation and materials in alternative formats will be provided. Other accessibility arrangements will be negotiated to ensure full participation.
