| Body | Second Symposium for Immersion and Dual Language Pre-School Educators It is with great pleasure that we announce the second "Symposium for Immersion and Dual Language Pre-School Educators" to be held in Tucson, Arizona, 16 - 17 February 2007. The Symposium will be of interest to Early Childhood Educators, Linguists, Program Administrators and to anyone with an interest in the teaching and learning of languages to young children. Call for Participants Interested Participants are asked to contact the organisers (info@TucsonIPE.com) for a Participant Registration Form. Call for Presenters One of the points from last year's Symposium was the value of sessions based on shared practice, so this will be a key theme of the 2007 event. We are seeking session presenters in any area related to Pre-School Immersion and Dual Language teaching and learning, and in particular on : * Programme marketing * Staff recruitment and retention * Resources and materials (finding and purchasing) * Finances (including handling "bad debts") Sessions will be 45 or 105 minutes and "sharing of sound practice" will be preferred. This will not be a high-tech event to keep costs low; presenters will need to bring their own equipment, for example if they want PP.
