The envisioned town, to be built on 1.15 million pyong (3.79 million square meters) of public land, will include an English learning center, elementary and secondary schools, and colleges along with a range of educational and residential facilities that will help students learn the language. The village is part of government efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of the country’s educational services sector as many students go to English-speaking countries and spend large amounts of money to study English.
