| Title | German Essay Contest |
| Body | The Wisconsin chapter of the AATG and the German Language and School Society (DSSV) are again cooperating in the annual essay contest for high school German students. In order to increase participation the DSSV has added to the number of prizes it will award. Please encourage your Level 3 & Level 4 AATG test takers to write the DSSV essay. * Every teacher whose class participates in the essay will be awarded a $ 50 stipend to be used for classroom materials. * DSSV will guarantee at least one student cash award per school. * Cash awards are given to the top 30 essays. * Two students will qualify for a prize of $500 each. * One student will qualify for the top prize, a trip to Germany. * Two $100 cash prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from essays that do not make the top 30.
