Body
From http://www.iie.org/Template.cfm?&Template=/programs/fmf/default.htm

The Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund (JFMF) Teacher Program, sponsored by the Government of Japan, provides American primary and secondary school teachers and administrators with fully-funded short-term study tours of Japan. JFMF participants travel to Japan with other outstanding educators, learn about Japanese culture and education, and return to implement a self-designed plan to share their knowledge and experience with their students, colleagues and community.

The Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program seeks primary and secondary educators who demonstrate potential for success and a long-term commitment to education. In 2007, up to 400 outstanding educators from all 50 states and the District of Columbia will be selected to participate in one of two cycles departing in June and October. A minimum of four individuals from each state and Washington, D.C., will receive JFMF awards.

Application deadline for summer and fall 2007 programs is December 7, 2006.
