Title | FOREIGN LANGUAGES: TEACHING WITH TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP (2 Days) |
Body | From: ACTFL Dates: November 20-21, 2002 Faculty Development Programs/Houghton Mifflin Company, The International Association for Language Learning Technology and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages present a special two-day workshop that brings together the technology expertise of IALLT with the hands-on tradition of ACTFL's instructional workshops. Intended for college and high school language educators, the workshop assists participants in the use of technology in the teaching of foreign languages within the framework of the national standards for foreign language learning. Topics will include 'Selecting Technology Resources,' 'Designing Activities with Technology,' 'Creating On-line Activities' and 'Integrating Tech-based Resources.' This hands-on 2-day workshop will be offered Wednesday and Thursday November 19 & 20 immediately preceding the ACTFL conference. The workshop cost is $295, which includes breakfast and lunch on both days and all materials.
