Seeking Book Donations for CAIL Library

The students and staff at CAIL (Center for American Indian Languages) at the University of Utah want to ask colleagues and friends to consider donating any duplicate copies or otherwise unwanted or unneeded books on Native American languages (and related topics) to the CAIL Library.

The CAIL Library currently has a reasonable collection of books on the indigenous languages of the Americas, but with a greater concentration on Mesoamerica and Uto-Aztecan (with books from Wick Miller and Lyle Campbell). There are gaps in coverage for North America and for major portions of South America, and for recent books.

The CAIL Library is open to the public, and also has a small associated computer laboratory (for students and visitors to the Center). Visitors are invited to use the library.

Donations will be acknowledged formally (for your tax purposes), and the donor of each book will be indicated in the book.

Thank you for considering helping the CAIL library. If you need additional information, please contact Nancy García, graduate student and CAIL's administrator (nancy.garciautah.edu). You can also reach us by phone (801) 587-0720, or fax (801) 585-7351.

Book donations can be sent to:
