| Title | Bridging Scholarships, Spring 2004-Scholarships for study abroad in Japan |
| Body | From: "Susan Schmidt" Bridging Scholarships, Spring 2004 The US-Japan Bridging Foundation funds scholarships to assist students to study abroad in Japan. Undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for these scholarships, which are administered by the Association of Teachers of Japanese (ATJ). Applicants muse be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be enrolled as undergraduates in colleges or universities in the U.S. The deadline for application is October 3, 2003, for students who will be studying in Japan beginning in Spring 2004. For students who will study in Japan in Fall 2004, the application deadline will be April 5, 2004.
