| Title | German Alphabet Song |
| Body | I just sang something crazy with my level 1s today and they really got into it, despite everybody laughing like crazy. I teach high school, so I'm sure you know, you really gotta win them over sometimes. I don't know if this will work for you, but I "sang" the letters like a drill instructor would chant. ABCDEFG! (and they repeat) HIJKLMN! (repeated by them) OPQRSTU! (repeated) VWXYZ! (sounds like this: FOWVAYIX-IP-SI-LON ZET!) Hoer zu! Hoer zu! (they repeat after me) and then... Das ist jetzt das deutsche Alphabet! I had them marching around the classroom -- freshmen all the way up to seniors, and it was surprisingly funny -- they liked it, and it sort of "bonded" them.
