The symposium will be hosted by the Linguistics Programme, University of Otago. The symposium offers a forum for scholarly discussions focusing on the language learner. Papers related to the following areas of interest are invited: - the classroom L2 learner; - the adult L2 learner; - the child L2 learner; - the independent L2 learner; - learner autonomy; - individual differences; - learners' beliefs and perceptions.
