This interdisciplinary gathering of scholars has facilitated an active exchange of ideas, insights and reflections for thirty years. We are now looking forwardto another stimulating and productive series of sessions that will focus upon multifacetedperspectives on the present, past and future of the European continent. The concurrent meeting of the European Studies Conference and the Global StudiesConference: Latin America, Asia, Africa, Middle East at the same location will provideattendees several advantages.
