The following survey is part of that development effort to gather information concerning the entry-level foreign-language teachers job. The survey was developed by classroom teachers, college faculty, and representatives from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), along with ETS staff. We are conducting this survey to involve large numbers of foreign-Language teachers and teacher-educators in the content-definition process so that practitioners from a variety of regions, school settings, and experience can participate.
