| Title | Call for Teaching Ideas |
| Body | The AATG would like to ask all teachers who have devised innovative ways of strengthening teaching and learning to consider sharing their strategies by submitting them for inclusion in the next volume of TEACHING IDEAS. TEACHING IDEAS is a compilation of strategies, tasks, projects, etc. on teaching and learning ideas that work well in the classroom, that enhance learning and improve teaching. Please share with your colleagues in the profession your favorite teaching ideas, games, projects, and techniques. Using a one-page format for each entry, please describe a technique that worked well for you in the classroom, e.g., a technique that stimulated discussion, a new way of using films, learning vocabulary, treating literature, learning grammar, illustrating a concept, etc.. There is no limit to the number of submissions you can enter. Please indicate which of the national standards your entry addresses. Submissions will be revised for suitability and edited for publication. Although we realize that in the teaching profession no idea is the single property of an individual teacher, we will recognize those who write up the idea. If you submit an idea, you will receive a free copy of the published volume, TEACHING IDEAS. Please send submissions to the AATG office or to Rosmarie Thee Morewedge (rmorewed@binghamton.edu). Include contact information, your e-mail, school and state. Deadline for sending submissions: July 15th, 2006. Thanks for helping us organize this effort from which all of us can benefit.
