CALICO is pleased to announce the publication of "Calling on CALL: From Theory and Research to New Directions in Foreign Language Teaching" edited by Lara Ducate and Nike Arnold. "Calling on CALL" is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the field of computer-assisted language learning (CALL). As such, it is an ideal book for newcomers to the field and for use in courses in CALL, foreign language education, educational technology, instructional technology, and applied linguistics. "Calling on CALL" contains 13 chapters (plus a subject index), and each chapter focuses on a specific area within CALL.
