I just found a great site for ESL teachers, called Teaching with Songs. It has activities for current, popular music. http://www.isabelperez.com/songs.htm

There is one from U2: “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”. It’s perfect to teach and work with present perfect. It shows the idea of the structure, it permits us to teach the formula (subject + have/has + past participle). It’s in the negative! And besides, U2 is a very famous band, adults and teenagers like them. It’s a great option.

Check out http://www.musicalenglishlessons.org . It identifies the grammar feature for the song and has pre-written activies you can use. Bibi Baxter has also written instructions on how to create your own worksheets, based on the lyrics of songs.
