Corpus linguistics provides analytic techniques and practical tools for studying language in use. This volume includes both an introductory framework for the use of corpus linguistics for language teaching and examples of its application for Korean teaching and leaning. The collected papers cover topics in Korean syntax, lexicon, discourse, and second language acquisition research, always with a focus on application in the classroom. An overview of Korean corpus linguistics tools and available Korean corpora is also included. Robert Bley-Vroman is a faculty member of the Department of Second Language Studies and Associate Member for Technology of the National Foreign Language Resource Center at the University of Hawaii. Hyunsook Ko is a PhD candidate in the Department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaii.
