Title | Recommended Video Series for French Learners |
Body | A while back I suggested a program that runs on French TV, C'est Pas Sorcier, as a great source of high quality science and history documentaries for kids. My daughter, 4 yrs old, loves the show, but it is made for older children. I just saw a program, "La Nutrition, Mangeons équilibré !" It's a great sources of information in French on all things related to nutrition. Food groups, meals, digestion, etc. Great video in the market too. The shows are copyright free for school use. http://www.gap.ien.05.ac-aix-marseille.fr/rre/article.php3?id_article=632 http://programmes.france3.fr/66381-fr.php Of course, it IS French, so moderation wins out over abstinence and there may be things that are not allowed in some US schools. For instance, they explain the health value of one or two glasses of red wine each day. Peckham, B. Video for food topic (French). Foreign Language Teaching Forum listserv.
