Body | From http://www.iateflcompsig.org.uk/cyprus2006.htm Learning Technologies in the Language Classroom: A step closer to the future University of Cyprus, Nicosia. May 26th - 28th, 2006. This is a three-day event organized by the University of Cyprus and the IATEFL LTechs SIG. The event will host a variety of practical and theoretical presentations catering both to experienced and novice teacher-users of learning technologies. Papers addressing a variety of aspects in the application and research of Learning Technologies in the language classroom will be considered. Main areas of interest to the conference are: - WWW resources implementation - implementation of CMC - research on implementation and effectiveness of Learning Technologies - the use of Virtual Learning Environments Selected conference papers will be published after the event.
