| Body | The Ting Study Center is for learners of Chinese and English who wish to improve their ability to understand a variety of accents. More than 40 native Chinese speakers (who are not trained actors) have been recorded saying the same words and phrases in their regional accents, whether they are from Beijing or the countryside. All are speaking Mandarin. The site also provides flash cards, for use online or at home, to study characters, pinyin, English translation, or sound.
