TitleNews Site for French Learners
Body
I've just printed out a couple of short articles I'm going to read with my students on Monday from the news site Les Cles de l'Actualite Junior. I'm sending the URL in case some of you French teachers are not familiar with the site. It targets kids from 8-12 (native French speakers) and therefore the language is simple to understand, but at the same time valuable for our advanced students.

I have used this site for quite some time. I copy articles to a Word document to get rid of the clutter. My students read the article and usually are ready to discuss what they read within a few moments. My students are advanced and use the AP lectures which are often challenging and can be discouraging to their egos. The Cles (I omit the word "junior"...and they don't know the target audience either) give them a lot of confidence! It is a wonderful site!
