TitleSavoir/Connaitre Activity
Body
I make up a bunch of index cards including things that require one verb or the other (how to make a cake, my dad, your friend's dog's name, etc.). I write those in French, then hand them out to the students. They have to tell the class, "Je sais faire un gâteau." or "Je ne sais pas ..." You get the idea. I always make sure there are some really wacky ones. I also check on the truth from time to time, so if they say they know how to do something I may make them do it. The class has to listen and tell me what that person said. It's also a good way to slip in a few new vocab words to keep them guessing. You can have them translate from English for an extra challenge.
