I listen to French Canadian radio on AM 540. You can hear it in Detroit and some nearby suburbs. The regular program hosts have what sound to me like standard French accents, but their GUESTS sometimes have really fun accents. Check it out next time you're in the area.

Many of the most popular artists in Quebec sing in their French. If you really want to bring real life language to your class, go to the Archambault.ca web site and check out songs by: Les Cowboys Fringants, Loco Locass, Robert Charlebois, La Chicane, Boom Dejardins, Marie Chantal Toupin, Okoumé, Kain, Beau Dommage, Les Trois Accords, Offenback and Gerry Boulet.
