A recent request to the FLTEACH listserv (Foreign Language Teaching Forum listserv. FLTEACH@LISTSERV.BUFFALO.EDU) for recommended titles of books about the lives of Hispanics in the U.S. received the following suggestions. Some of these novels are in Spanish and some are in English; they may be useful for teachers of either Spanish or English learners.
