DEAN GREGORY FESTSCHRIFT FOR OCTOBER! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have started to receive working papers, remembrances and other notes for inclusion in October's "O. Dean Gregory Festschrift." The biggest challenge has been to make certain that every student, colleague and friend of the late Dr. O. Dean Gregory is aware of this upcoming event, so that all of us have a chance to share information and honor his life and his work in the field of English language teaching and applied linguistics. Thank you for helping to pass the word among your own colleagues and acquaintances--you may be surprised to find how many have ties to Dr. Gregory through institutions ranging from Teachers College Columbia University to the Applied English Center at the University of Kansas, and through his instrumental role in the early development of ESL/EFL in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
