Body | From http://www.freetocharities.org.uk/yaounde/conference2.html Call for Papers 13-15 April 2006 SignPost, the Post-Graduate Literary Forum of the Department of English, University of Yaounde I, Cameroon, is organising a conference on the theme: Dislocating the centre in language and literature. The three-day conference seeks to bring postgraduate students of the State and Private Universities and other higher institutions together to spur their participation in current trends in Language and Literature. It also intends to explore the political, cultural, and historical movements that are influential to these trends. The conference will thus focus on an understanding of representation, with emphasis on notions such as nationalism, nationhood and ethnicity.
