Body | Enrollment in North Korean-run schools for emigre families in Japan has fallen from 40,000 in the 1970s to 12,000 today. Some schools are switching from traditional Korean costume to Japanese-style school uniforms and adding Japanese language classes as more and more families consider staying in Japan instead of returning to North Korea.
