Each summer, visiting scholars from underrepresented groups spend four weeks at the ETS campus in Princeton, New Jersey, studying issues related to test design and development and learning to write and review test questions and related materials for a variety of testing programs. Scholars meet and confer with program directors and attend sessions that focus on issues related to fairness in testing, from question conception through test administration and research. After scholars return to their institutions, they can choose to continue to serve as links between ETS and the academic world by activities such as contributing test questions, reviewing test content, and serving on committees.
