| Body | From: "Charlie Bauer" A new Training of Trainers for the Dual-U Curriculum is being offered on August 13, 14 & 15 at the Illinois Resource Center in the Chicago area. Dual-U (http://www.dualu.org/) an eight-module, on-line professional development curriculum, based on Dual Language Instruction: A Handbook for Enriched Education by N. Cloud, F. Genesee and E. Hamayan (Heinle & Heinle, 2000) was launched on April 1, 2003. This curriculum is designed to assist elementary and secondary teachers and administrators in developing, implementing, and assessing dual language or two-way immersion programs. |
