TitleForeign Language Radio
Body
If you're looking for ways to improve listening skills in other languages than English, consider a shortwave radio. You can find them for much less than $100. Next, you need to go to your local bookstore and purchase a copy of the monthly magazine "Popular Communications". This magazine will give you the frequencies and reports of stations that can be heard in your area throughout the year.

"Popular Communications" will also have articles about shortwave stations that have Internet sites. For example, if you're interested in German, you can view the 4 booklets "Warum nicht' online at http://www.dwelle.de , click on the "English section," then go to the "German lessons". Look in the English section of http://www.rfi.fr to learn French online. Or, for Spanish, try http://www.rtve.es/rne/ree . There are many more.

One of my favorite stations is Swiss Radio International. Another is Radio Educacion from Mexico.

Shortwave radio and/or shortwave radio internet sites you can listen to daily. Usually there's a first broadcast to the east coast and later another to the west coast.
