| Body | Dear Friends and Colleagues, Again this year we are having our annual art and artisan fair. It is in the tradition of the German Advent fairs, but reworked for our diverse community. I will be handling the chestnut roasting as usual. Below is the description; if you respond to this email off the listserv, I can send you a pdf copy of the flyer, which includes a map. If you are an artist or artisan interested in a space, please contact the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council office at 314-862-5122. mit schönsten Wintergrüßen, Mark Banaszak Wintermarkt will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 11 am to 4 pm. We will have a blacksmith this year, and carriage rides again. We'll have a food tent with brats, roasted chestnuts, hot cider, a special German treat from the St. Louis Gast House for purchase, all in addition to our fabulous bake sale items. Our bake sale will include those amazing cookie/ornaments in the shape of Gingerbread Men. We will have several musical acts--the Pikers (an a capella group) again this year and the St. Roch Handbell group. All the money raised goes to support artists (via their sales) and the West End Arts Council. The WEAC funds art project in the neighborhood (recently the mosaic on the stage at Greg Freeman Park at Four Corners, and music at National Night Out). Banaszak, M.
