| Body | In an attempt to overcome the challenges faced by disadvantaged Native American youths, many of whom may not graduate from high school, the Navajo Nation has created its own department of education. Although the Nation already had an education director, restructuring will allow more cooperation and collaboration between tribes. One of the group's main goals is to incorporate more Navajo language and culture instruction into the curriculum.
