TitleThanksgiving Bingo for Learners of German
Body
Here are the instructions for the Lottospiel located on my website at http://teacherweb.com/wi/hhs/havas/photo2.stm

The basic rules of Bingo apply with these modifications:

For lower levels, have the kids write the German words randomly on the board (one per box) and call the words in German. After one or two rounds, I have the winners of each round call the words for the next one. This reduces the likelihood of multiple winnings (even though it's purely driven by luck, there is a perception out there that the game is stacked somehow!) Having them swap boards after a while is also a way to keep things interesting.

Upper levels: have them figure out what each word is in English in advance as a class, have them write the English in the boxes and then call the German, or vice versa. Go with the spirit that moves you at the time!
