| Body | From http://www.mola.tcu.edu/socallt/SOCALLT_2006_conference.html#cfp Teaching and Technology: All Languages, All Levels, All Institutions hosted by Collin County Community College (Plano, TX) Friday and Saturday, February 24-25, 2006 The South Central Association for Language Learning Technology invites SOCALLT/IALLT members and other interested professionals to participate in our next annual meeting, "Teaching and Technology: All Languages, All Levels, All Institutions". Proposals should address issues and innovations in technology-enhanced language instruction, with a special focus on motivating the language learner. We encourage participation not only from colleagues at universities but also community colleges and high schools. Deadline for proposals: November 30, 2005. Topics can include but are not limited to the following: * pedagogical programs and techniques * challenges of technology and teaching at different levels and institutions * student-centered learning * distance learning * course management programs involving testing, homework submission, teacher-student communication, etc. * streamed audio and video distribution * distribution of materials for less commonly taught languages * cultural communication.
