Learning Technologies in the Language Classroom: A step closer to the future
University of Cyprus, Nicosia. May 26th - 28th, 2006.

This will be a three-day event organized by the University of Cyprus and the IATEFL LTechs SIG. The event will host a variety of practical and theoretical presentations catering both to experienced and novice teacher-users of learning technologies. Papers addressing a variety of aspects in the application and research of Learning Technologies in the language classroom will be considered. Main areas of interest to the conference are:

* WWW resources implementation
* implementation of CMC
* research on implementation and effectiveness of Learning Technologies
* the use of Virtual Learning Environments

Dr Stephen Bax, Canterbury Christ Church University College, UK

Proposals for contributions to the conference should be sent by 10th December 2005.
